Carnoustie Country Tour
Carnoustie country has 30 courses within a 40 minute drive with some fine links and some great inland courses including Carnoustie Championship, and four open qualifiers. The nearby city of Dundee also offers good choices in eating and overnight accommodation.
Below are the courses you will have the opportunity to play and enjoy:
Carnoustie Burnside Links traditional Scottish seaside links, sits adjacent to the championship course. Slightly shorter than its famous neighbour, it still offers a good challenge of golf and well bunkered.
NOTE Players with a handicap of 24 plus can play the Championship course venue of the 2007 British Open. A supplement of £140 per person applies.
Panmure one of Scotland finest links courses, visitors will be impressed with the history of the club and the quality of the course, with its challenging greens, riveted bunkers and a wonderful design
Edzell A lovely inland course set in trees and gorse with rolling fairways and tricky par 3s. It is located in the foothills of the Grampian Mountains and the views are excellent.
Forfar A moorland course with holes defined by trees and gorse this course was designed by the by legendary Open Champion James Braid.
