Kingdom of Fife

The Kingdom of Fife is where it all began, where the rules were laid down and where golfers all over the world aspire to play. There are 47 golf courses on this small peninsula and from the Old to the new everyone has something to offer all standards of golfer.

Golf has been a way of life in Fife for 500 years. Where else can you play a New Course that is now over a hundred years old? (It had to be called New when it was laid out in 1895 to distinguish it from its neighbour the Old Course which - so it seemed-had been there for ever).

Between west and east are a host of courses to delight and challenge golfers of all tastes and abilities.

The Kingdom of Fife is indeed the Home of Golf - it's in the air, and it's addictive. Golf here is everyone's game, so - whether you are on your 1st visit or your 51st - you will be assured of a great welcome.
